Moodboard

I have created a mood board, which includes images and font styles that will inspire me and connote Grime.

Digital Designs

Hand Drawn Sketches

Colour Scheme

I have chosen these colour choices as they are conventional to Grime.
Red = connotations include danger, passion and fire. These are all emotions conveyed throughout Grime lyrics.
Black = connotations of dominance and power.
Blue = connotations of isolation, which are how some readers might feel prior to reading the inspiring artists.

Font Styles

I will use the 1st one for the masthead because it is bold and will catch the readers eye it also shows the feel and portrays the genre of the magazine. I will use the first font as the font of the main part of the magazine and the articles this is because it is clear and bold so even when smaller than the other two it is still easy to read. I will use the 2nd font (changed from feedback) to show the name of the artist being interviewed as it is eye catching and bold but also easy to read as it will be the firs thing the reader reads when they open up the magazine to the double page spread. The third font will be used for the articles as it is easy to read.
